Honoring the Life of Service and Devotion of

Samik Rsi Das

Samik Rsi Das

Samik Rsi Prabhu, also known as Dr. Shyam Sundar Mahajan, has dedicated his life to service—both as a medical doctor and as a devoted disciple of Srila Prabhupada. Born in a small village in Madhya Pradesh, India, he carried forward the values of simplicity, faith, and compassion throughout his life.

After moving to the United States in the early 1970s, he became closely connected with ISKCON and has spent decades serving the devotee community through his profession, hospitality, preaching, and support of temple projects. From helping establish Krishna consciousness within his own family to supporting temples and initiatives across the world, his life has been centered on giving.

In recent years, his service has expanded to include initiatives such as the Krishna Mini Temple project and the construction of the exquisite Sri Sri Radha Gopinath temple in his hometown of Khargone, India.
